JARREOLOGY (A Tribute to JEAN MICHEL JARRE) - Out Now!

It is the most pretentious solo project? I don’t know but certainly something happened and changed my recording techniques in search of combinations of sounds and samples.

The result is still “electronica & synthpop”, my piano is still alive but there are some hard synths & beats that I’ve never used before JARREOLOGY…

For a sort of JARREOLOGY-preview check out the promo video EQUINOXE PART4 HERE or @ YouTube

You can download a free version of the new album (mp3 files @ 320kbps!) from the addresses indicated at the end of this post:

JARREOLOGY - A Tribute To JEAN MICHEL JARRE

After Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk and Erasure, it’s time for a tribute-album dedicated to another pioneer in the electronic, synthpop and New Age genres.
More details about this new release - next week…

Fragile Universe…

As you know, because of health problems of Dave Gahan, DM concert in Bucharest was postponed / canceled …
However, “Party Of The Universe” will take place Friday May 15th starting @ 23h (local time). More details here (in Romanian).
I hope Dave will recover soon and the tour will be back on track…

Alive & Kicking!

I knew (in January) that 2009 will be a very busy year…
After six weeks working in the studio, I returned with ideas and materials for a new almost-finished album and a few original collections of covers and remixes!
First on the list will be “reDMixed” which will include several Depeche Mode tracks fortified with some new beats, synths, effects and spicy flavors…
The new material will be available for download on this site next week - just in time to mark the meeting with fans of Depeche Mode during a DJ set @ “Party of the Universe” (Friday May 15, Becker Brau Live Music Club in Bucharest).
Check out the GIGS section for more details and the DOWNLOADS section for a preview of the new material!
We’ll meet again in a few days!

Fresh DM Remixes! (ver.2.0 :P)

To avoid downloading unfinished versions of my remixes, two new projects from this winter are now available in DOWNLOADS section: a remix of “Sister of Night” and the latest achievements - two remixes for “Oh Well”.

Wrong remixes?! (Part two)

Hello, Depeche Mode fans!
Based on another set of drums, synths and some effects - this is the second remix for “Wrong”!
Regardless of what you find on other sites, final version is available only on this site @ DOWNLOADS.

Wrong remixes?!

Seeing on the net some unfinished versions of my remixes, I would like to inform you that this is the only site where you can download free versions of these final pieces.

Now you can visit the DOWNLOADS section for the first unofficial remix of the new Depeche Mode single from the album “Sounds Of The Universe”!

Fresh Oldies, fresh video, fresh site, old new waver…

The “FO” story continues… Now, with a few re-interpretations of twenty “almost-classical” masterpieces from Sting, Annie Lennox, Limahl, Elvis Presley, Richard Marx, Ultravox, A-ha, Keane, Pet Shop Boys, Queen, The Beatles, Simply Red, Yazoo, Roxette and others…

First of all, I have a fresh site now with a friendly look & feel (I hope), new pages and/or new widgets: the audio player is now located only in his page, in the VIDEO area you’ll find all my videos and the new & improved GALLERY is waiting for you with a ‘Flickr suit’… But I still HATE photos!

The new video from the FO5 is NEVERENDING STORY - it’s my favourite (original) track from the album and I love it! You can watch this video HERE!

Now, about the album…
“FRESH OLDIES vol.V: Beauty T(r)ips for Valentine’s Day” is a very ambitious album, a combination between synthpop, new wave, classical, electronica & alternative.
All songs are instrumental versions (again!) but I let the piano take the lead…
Here is the tracklist with details about writers & original artists (or the most known version) of every song:

One week before release… Are you ready for your next t(r)ip?

I’m a huge fan of synthpop but I also like this fantastic song… So, this is my ‘electro cover-version’! :P
